How To Remove The wpadminbar CSS Push

If you’re like me you find the wpadminbar css push really annoying. When you’re trying to get the positioning just right on your site, you have to use a different browser, and incognito window, or log out, just to see how your site looks without your content pushed down.

Thankfully WordPress is quite easy to work with and they have the CSS bump setup as an action, meaning you can just remove it.

Just add that code to your functions.php file and you’ll see everything positioned how you want it. 28px of content at the top will be covered up, but overall I find that works well.

Thanks to css-tricks for the heads up on this.
